For over four decades, TS Civil Engineering (TSCE) has provided a comprehensive suite of engineering, land surveying, permitting and planning services to private and public clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. Leveraging our technical expertise with a deep understanding of the local political and regulatory landscape, we provide unparalleled guidance for our clients on residential and commercial developments, as well as urban and rural subdivisions.

Having successfully completed over a hundred large and small projects throughout Alameda, San Benito, Santa Clara, and San Mateo Counties, TSCE has a unique understanding of the development process and project design. We have worked on a wide range of projects, but we specialize in challenging hillside development on environmentally-sensitive land. We also specialize in development of historic or antiquated lots.

TSCE was founded in 1972 under a different name by Paul Nowack to provide civil engineering services for residential development in Santa Clara County. Since then the company has grown and expanded its expertise. The headquarters were relocated from Los Altos, California to San Jose in 1985, and ownership was transferred to Terence Szewczyk in 1998.
